Our short stay at Koimala was better than expected. The place is clean and the staff very helpful, and we were so lucky to see the whale shark.

All meals were good. Definitely get the all-inclusive with excursion package. Staff were very kind, room clean, and the excursions were a lot of fun.
A short domestic hop from Malé lands you at Villa International Airport, on our own island. Speedboat and ferry options run too.

Bikini beach is an 8-minute walk; the protected whale shark waters are a short ride on our own speedboat.
